Jonathan & Helen Bell
Jonathan and Helen came to Birmingham in 1996 when called by God to move to the city and plant what has now become Churchcentral. Jonathan is a gifted Bible teacher involved with training other leaders within Newfrontiers, while leading the team at Churchcentral. Previously an Occupational Therapist Helen works part time as a support worker for the elderly. They have two sons and together are passionate about living their lives for the glory of God and seeing the establishing of a large city impacting church in Birmingham.
Phil & Claire Biggs
Phil and Claire believe that the local church is God's plan for bringing people to himself. They therefore seek to serve in whatever God leads them into. Phil has been an elder in Churchcentral since June 2005, whilst also running the sales team for a local hardware manufacturer. Claire is involved with discipleship and the pastoral work within the church. Their two daughters are in a local primary school.
Mark & Jodie Mitchell
Mark and Jodie moved to Birmingham in 2002 from Sheffield, responding to clear direction from God to join Churchcentral. Mark is passionate about seeing the gifts of the Holy Spirit used to build people up and to demonstrate the reality of God to those who don’t yet know him. He joined the leadership team of the church in 2007 and is a primary school Deputy Head Teacher. Married to Jodie, they have 3 children.
Russ & Alex Lowman
In the summer of 2002 God spoke clearly to Russ and Alex about relocating from Brighton to Birmingham. 8 months later they moved to the city joining Churchcentral. Russ joined the Leadership team in 2008 and is passionate about seeing leaders trained and the church practically resourced. From a career in sports car engineering Russ is now part of the full-time staff. Alex is a trained Music Therapist and looks after their two boys.
