At Churchcentral we place a strong emphasis on maintaining healthy marriages. We look to equip couples to keep strengthening their relationship together, whether they’re planning to get married or have been married for decades.

Marriage Preparation

The Marriage Preparation Course is a series of five sessions designed to help you develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage.

Each engaged couple is also linked up with a married couple for encouragement, discussion, prayer and support in an informal setting.

• Expressing feelings and learning to listen
• The importance of commitment
• Resolving conflict
• Developing a fulfilling sexual relationship
• Talking about goals and values

The Marriage Course

All couples are welcome to sign up for the Marriage Course. If you are in a committed relationship and you feel you would benefit then please feel free to join us. The course is very practical, giving tools for strengthening and deepening relationships over a lifetime. It’s designed for any couple, whether Christians or not, whether their marriage is really good or having some difficulties, and whether they have been married for two or fifty years!

Parenting

Do you ever wish children arrived into the world with an instruction manual? We recognise that children are both the source of real joy and huge challenges!

The purpose behind the Parenting Course is to equip families to grow and develop on strong, loving foundations. The course material is presented in a down to earth way and draws on a lot of personal experience. Courses run throughout the year and are open to anyone – church members and parents who have never set foot in a church, single parents, young and old parents alike.
