The vision of the Bridge is to bring hope to those who have no hope, to see those who are currently pushed to the boundaries of our society being valued and empowered for life in the community, and to see people set free from limitations such as homelessness and life controlling addictions.
The Bridge currently runs ‘Bridge House’, a 15-bed supported accommodation house for both men and women in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions, as well as a 6-bed move on house for those wanting to get back into employment, volunteering or training, and a volunteer-based mentoring scheme.
If you would like to get involved with the outreach work of the church through The Bridge, there are plenty of opportunities through volunteering, through giving or fundraising or through prayer support. Please take a look at the Bridge’s website at www.thebridge.uk.net for full details.
