The regeneration of Birmingham has involved a massive redevelopment plan that is transforming run down areas of the city. There have been a number of prestigious developments created in the last decade that have revived and promoted Birmingham locally and internationally. These include the International Convention Centre and Symphony Hall, the new Bull Ring shopping centre and the attractive redevelopment of canal side Brindley Place. A network of vibrant urban villages is evolving through the regeneration of areas like the Jewellery Quarter. Selly Oak is also undergoing major change with the building of a new super hospital.
At Churchcentral we have a heart for our city and the people in it. We believe in its potential to be a great place to live and work, and are excited to see the changes that are taking place. We’re fully behind the City Council’s agenda for Birmingham to offer a high quality of life for everyone and for it to be a place where people feel safe and included. We understand that having a great city isn’t just about the buildings; true greatness comes from within people. We are committed to doing everything we can to keep reaching people and unlocking their incredible potential so that changed lives will help bring lasting change to both the physical and spiritual landscape of our city.
